In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory of Samuel Dickinson

In loving memory of Samuel Dickinson, a devoted family man, hardworking farmer, and valued member of his community.

Samuel, aged 39, was found at his farm near Blackrod, a place he called home and where he dedicated himself to both his livelihood and his loved ones. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

An inquest at Bolton Coroner’s Court concluded that Samuel died by suicide. In the wake of his death, concerns were raised about gaps in firearms licensing laws, with calls for greater scrutiny and action to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Today, we remember Samuel not for the circumstances of his passing, but for the life he lived — for his dedication, his hard work, and the love he shared with those closest to him. May he be remembered with compassion, and may his memory inspire care, awareness, and meaningful change.

Our thoughts remain with his family and all who mourn him.
