In Loving Memory of Xavier Burum
The Oneida community is grieving the tragic and untimely loss of Xavier Burum, just 24 years old, whose life was taken far too soon on Monday, March 23, 2026. The heartbreaking incident occurred at a home off Stanley Creek Road, leaving family, friends, and neighbors in shock and deep sorrow.
Xavier was rushed to a local hospital following the shooting, but despite efforts to save him, he sadly did not survive. His passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew him—a void filled with memories of his presence, his spirit, and the moments he shared with those around him.
At such a young age, Xavier’s life held promise, dreams, and a future that was tragically cut short. Those who knew him will remember him not only for the time he had, but for the impact he made in it. His loss is a painful reminder of how fragile life can be and how deeply one life can touch so many others.
