Milbia was struck by an SUV along South County Trail around 10:15 p.m., and despite receiving immediate medical care, she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Authorities have since arrested 26-year-old Tariq Famogun of Providence in connection with the incident, as the investigation into this heartbreaking tragedy continues.
