In Loving Memory of Collin Lacaze
The Alexandria community is heartbroken as it remembers Collin Lacaze, a bright and promising 16-year-old student from Alexandria Senior High School. On the night of March 31, Collin and a fellow student were involved in a tragic roadside accident on Eddie Williams Avenue near Tulane Avenue.
Collin will be remembered for his youthful spirit, his kindness, and the light he brought into the lives of those around him. As a student, he carried promise, potential, and dreams that reflected a future filled with hope. His presence in the classroom and among his peers left a meaningful impact that will not be forgotten.
Friends and loved ones describe Collin as someone who brought smiles wherever he went—a young soul full of energy, compassion, and sincerity. He had a way of making others feel included and valued, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever.
The loss of someone so young is a pain that words can scarcely express. A life just beginning, filled with possibility, has been tragically cut short, leaving a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, classmates, and the entire community.
